So what would you rather have: kids who are so determined to have a piercing they risk serious complications by doing it them selves or having a HIGHLY trained professional explain to the child the risk, the upkeep, and if they still REALLY want it then have the professional do it. It is no different from getting your ears pierced. I really don't understand why piercings have such a negative reputation? People act like its as bad as underage sex or drug use.
