Pictures from the drive

The real photos come tomorrow evening, but here’s a wholly inadequate taste of the beautiful landscape. We drove here through a snowstorm but it didn’t really slow us down. As always, click to zoom in on the pictures…

Jordan; these are from Cape Breton Island. I have a PowerShot SD800 (just a simple little camera, nothing special).

These photos feed the urge to sell it all, buy a bike, and move to the Yukon.

Beautiful photos. Thanks for the ‘window’ for us trapped in cities.

Shannon, kudos to you & Caitlin in your homesteading endeavour; moving out of the city to our little ranch was the best decision Thom and I ever made: nearest neighbor a mile away, blacktop four miles away, nearly completely self-sufficient w/chickens (fresh eggs every day!), quail and dove in season, a wonderful vegetable & fruit garden(peaches last summer the size of softballs)…And wildlife? Resident deer, javelina, bobcats, coyotes, badgers & fox (maybe even a mountain lion or two), endless birds including Golden Eagle…To top it off, stars so thick at night you can hardle pick out constellations…Go for it my friend: it’ll be a life-changer!!

  10. Shannon? Is this Your name?

Well, here a viewer from Munich ;)
Incredible place to be..Your blog-site-Artwork pure.
Also this fantastic possiblity explained here…You mean really as – like me- living in Germany could buy my land? I always wanted to rotate and spin into Canada’s nature wonders.
Like skating on my own river ;) Cool.

I need more details about the company where I could find something like You did, visit, buy and take my way to freedom.

If time allows please take a few minutes and manage some details for me and email or phone me.

    Your photos are incredible.

God bless You and this fantastic place You created.

    Marius;)
