She might be into the German more later. I suspect that it's not really important which languages children learn and that it's perhaps more exposing them to learning more than one language when they're at that age. Many of my friends who learned 2 languages growing up had a much easier time than us unilinguals learning new languages later in life. So, yeah, very very cool. That’s awesome. The chess, swimming, climbing, cooking, video games & DIY crafty stuff (making things out of boxes etc.), music, different forms of art. So many kids are exposed to things mainly from only a few areas which seem to be more what the parents are into. There are so many things I wish I had been taught when I was at that age because we're finding more and more evidence that between 3-6 the brain is really a sponge. It's really cool to see Nefarious have the freedom to figure out what she's interested in. Are you guys planning on teaching her other languages?
