I was watching Taboo from last week today and thinking about how I hadn’t read your blog in a long time… (Taboo was about body modification and included a segment on eyeball tattoos…) Anyway, I’ve also thought about lasik, but I’m a wienie!!

As for Little Big Planet, I just bought this for myself a few days ago – very fun indeed :-)

I remember how it felt when I decided to get a driver’s license and had to learn all the road signs and rules of the road (it made me realize what a reckless cyclist I used to be, too) – it felt wonderful to suddenly see and understand the signs everywhere. Learning to read must feel at least a little like that, I suppose.
Learning to understand/read a foreign language is a great experience, too.

i was told PRK is absolutely painful and uncomfortable. i went for a consultation about 9 months ago, and because my powers are still changing, i was told to come back in 6 months. it’s something i’m still keeping in mind, my friend had her lasik the friday after our consultation (in only 1 eye) and she is amazed at the results.
