Big knife lover too (actually tools in general). I would order one of those right now if it weren’t for the Danish laws.
Thanks to gang related violence between immigrants and drug dealers in a very small and concentrated are, knives is almost completely illigal now. They can’t be assisted, lockable, have more than a 3″ blade, and you can’t bring it anywhere unless you can prove you need it for work or a hobby (fishing, hunting etc.)
Everyone seems to forget that it is a TOOL and only a weapon in the WRONG HANDS – which almost everything is!

Anyway, my favorite has to be the Spyderco Military CF BG-42. Very light and just excellent quality.

Of course you love knives, Shannon, that only makes sense. I’m a huge(HUGE) knife fan and aspiring knife maker. Kershaw makes a fine product and more importantly their parent company, KAI is one of the biggest best knife producers on the planet. On that note have you checked out their Zero Tolerance line of knives? They’re like Kershaw knives only better and badder. Also, Shun knives, another branch of KAI, makes the best kitchen knives for the best prices I’ve ever seen. KAI also makes an incredible scalpel, go figure. My EDC knife is usually an Emerson, if you’re not familiar, hook yourself up. Shit I’m getting ahead of myself.. Give em hell Shannon.

I second the beard comment, that thing is awesome. I went all day without buying anything online, until I read this post that is. I did manage to only spend $43 though so that’s always nice.

damn, i miss my CRKT. it was stolen in Hatford along with my handstitched GhostRider wallet! that was a nice knife.

i just bought a new Gerber for my piercing kit. it has a nice “Tanto tip” blade, but isnt very assisted…
i wish i could just carry by butterfly.

have you checked out the CRKT hissatsu? a good assisted opener but a much better deign for the blade than the “american tanto” (?!) style. but, it isn’t meant to be a box/letter opener either…

Oh and I also have a thing for wooden boxes. MMMMM boxes… So many in so many sizes with so many wonderful hidden things in them. Like glass, books, coins, relics and rocks. :)

Ah, so it’s built like a box cutter. Nice music. You do knives, not me. I’m a sucker for books (much bulkier and difficult to move, store) and glass. Lots and lots. Literally.
